Project presentation Micro Bakeries Uganda:

“Brot gegen Not” – The Heiner Kamps Foundation has been successfully building fully equipped training bakeries in needy countries since 2000.

In Uganda we are working on a new type of project. Based on the idea of microcredit, we support women by enabling them to earn a family income “on the spot” in their village/neighborhood by baking and selling.

Three women share a “micro bakery”, up to 6 “micro bakery” are combined in a local women’s group. The members of the local women’s group meet regularly to exchange ideas, pay back their microcredit together and save up reserves.
