In the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte, it’s not just about bread, but about the daily meal for thousands of slum children. Here the Foundation participates financially in the work of the Italian priest Mario Pozzoli, who shows the children and young people the way to a future worth living in a self-sacrificing and exemplary manner.

Pre-school, medical care, sports, attending school, fighting drugs and learning a trade – these are the stations of the “Providencia” project, which is located in the midst of the desperately poor favelas on the steep mountain slopes around Belo Horizonte.
