Many people have lost their livelihoods. They have little hope of finding work and are forced to work as day laborers.<\/p>\n<p>This situation is particularly hard for job starters and young people without training and without a chance of training. &#8220;Brot gegen Not&#8221; cooperates within the AlbVET program with Swisscontact, a Swiss business foundation for development cooperation, and would like to enable young adults to train in the bakery trade. There is neither standardized training for bakers nor a vocational school to learn the baker&#8217;s profession.<\/p>\n<p>In Durr\u00ebs, a town with around 130,000 inhabitants in western Albania, regular training courses were held between 2009 and 2015 with changing partners.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the establishment of a professional apprenticeship bakery and practical training in the bakery trade, &#8220;Brot gegen Not&#8221; took on an important advisory role in relation to the development of baker training.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><style type=\"text\/css\">.fusion-body
